The king room offered cozy comforts, made it enjoyable to unwind after a long day. A clean, spacious setup added to the charm.
The noise from the busy road outside was more than I bargained for, disrupting my peace at night. I missed having tea or coffee facilities right in the room, and the radiator took a bit of fooling around to get going. A bath towel felt smaller than expected, an inconvenience post-walk.

Had a wonderful time during my four-night stay. The room was spacious, with a modern ensuite, and offered nice views of the beautiful garden outside. The owners provided amazing breakfast options each morning, and I looked forward to the freshly baked goods that were available in the afternoon. Plus, the advice on local walks was incredibly helpful, especially when deciding where to head out after breakfast. It's also a short stroll to the train station, making it super convenient for exploring the area.

I loved the comfy king room, but the road noise was a bit much at night.

While the hotel looked lovely, the road noise was unbearable, ruining my peace. I certainly expected complimentary coffee in my room, not a trek downstairs. I nearly gave this place a glowing review, but alas, I couldn't overlook the lack of special treatment I so rightfully deserved for my stay.

Spoiler alert, it's worth it!
What an SUPERB experience! Cute hosts, fine gardens, and a room with lovely bay windows. Enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast each morning. Free wifi and local hiking advice were major bonuses. I can't wait to return!

Had a lovely large room, and it was super clean! Enjoyed the homey vibe and the hostess left out yummy baked goods. The place even has a cozy guest lounge with endless tea and coffee.
Could do with a couple more towels-had to start a towel-sharing program with myself! And honestly, if I had a nickel for every time I used the fridge, well, I'd be buying my own!
